Jake LaTourette

Jake LaTourette serves as the Managing Director of Aurelius. Jake works closely with his clients to design and implement bespoke financial plans that identify and manage their personal, professional, and financial goals. In addition, he is responsible for overseeing the growth of Aurelius’ professional team and managing its day-to-day operations.

He began his career in 2014 as a financial advisor with Equitable Advisors in their New York office. His comfort with managing complex systems, attention to detail, and sardonic dry wit quickly drew attention from office leadership there, including Aurelius’s CEO, Anthony D’Angelo. This began their partnership and culminated in Jake leading the operations department for Anthony’s team at Equitable, one of the highest-ranked in the company’s history.

In 2019 Jake moved to Los Angeles to become part of the new leadership team of the Southern California region of Equitable Advisors. Here, he led a collection of departments and initiatives, including new and experienced advisor onboarding and their 25,000+ household client relationship management program. He takes pride in being one of the youngest regional leaders in the history of an institution that pre-dates the American Civil War.

Jake is a member of the professional association Finseca and a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He holds a baccalaureate degree in Economics with a Financial Concentration from James Madison University, where he spent time mentoring and tutoring underclassmen as a member of the Madison Economics Club and as a Founding Father of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He has fundraised for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Operation: Heal our Heroes. Jake is an avid reader who enjoys traveling, attending concerts, sports, and stand-up comedy shows.
